Dark 'n' Wave Night @ Grind House Club (Padova)

Il party dark del primo sabato del mese ritorna, per la quarta stagione, al Grind House di Padova.
Dopo i primi due anni trascorsi nella vecchia sede del Portello, e, dopo unavvincente annata svoltasi nella nuova location di via Longhin, la Dark n Wave Night inaugura, per sabato 5 Ottobre, la nuova stagione 2013/14.
Il Grind House è il club underground per eccellenza di Padova, che trova spazio in una location situata in una zona (Padova Uno) facilmente raggiungibile dalle autostrade, ubicata appena dietro a Mediaworld.
Come di consueto, le serate Dark 'n' Wave puntano esclusivamente sulla qualità della proposta musicale, trattando tutti i generi e i sottogeneri nati in seno alla New Wave, ed affiancando, al post punk e al dark delle origini, alcuni momenti fondamentali dellepoca doro riconducibili al goth, al synth pop e al new romantic.
Come di consueto, accanto ai classici degli Anni 80 ci sarà la sezione delle nuove proposte degli Anni '10, con uno spazio dedicato alle nuove realtà della scena dark-nu wave-electro-synth (Var, Ashrae Fax, Trust, Crystal Castles, Light Asylum, Cold Cave, Xiu, Velvet Condom).
Il tutto per garantire un approccio free-form che parte dalla new wave più oscura, e che, da quel tipo di sonorità, giunge fino ai giorni nostri.

Ex-Voto Dark Night @ San Vittore Disco (Milano)
The summer festivities, now just a fading memory, the project Ex-Voto returns, renewed in respect of last season. For the inauguration that is planned for the 14th September, at San Vittore we have, Fabio Snoze DAgostinos exhibition-art of some of his paintings.
Art Director Viola Violetta, this time has changed the theme of the location to a contextual space concept, where artistic form blazes a trail for the music.
With the elegance of Dj Dandy Noir and Elvio Dj-Skulls sound vortex will alternate on the consoles, two special guests; from Rome, Dj Chemnitz with his distinct analogue/minimal sound and Dj Diego Frozen frontman of the FROZEN AUTUMN.
Like a laboratory of ideas, the project Ex-Voto is continually evolving but still maintaining it looks soft, sophisticated, dark&far away in time.

""The project Ex-Voto was conceived from an idea of Viola Violetta, Art Director of the Milan independant music scene, to create a Dark Event but just for the "die Hard" enthusiast. From the beginning with originality to the theme in mind, guests, dj-sets and the choice of location were carefully selected to perfectly matches her ideas. There is something new and you have the impression to re-live the spirit that you would associate with the Rainbow-Club.
This feeling has increased interestin these evenings. The Art Director wants to build on this encourage others to organise an evening "on the fly" and as a result; on the 20th July 2013 on the stage of San Vittore will play "THE SHIMMER".

Con questa estate 2013 nasce una nuova sinergia tra Work In Progress club [WIP] e Sepolcro Zero, e, in previsione della collaborazione per la prossima stagione, vi proponiamo questo primo
appuntamento estivo, che vi permetterà di conoscere il club ed apprezzarne la gestione.
Ringraziamo innanzitutto lo staff del WIP per la fiducia accordataci, e sottolineiamo che potremo contare su costi del bar decisamente popolari, ed in più su di un bel palco per gli eventi con i LIVE.
Per questo primo appuntamento spazieremo tra i grandi suoni dell'epoca d'oro di Post Punk e Dark, toccheremo anche territori tipicamente 80's e Synth Pop, senza dimenticare la contemporaneità e proponendo anche selezioni di artisti della nuova scena minimal wave ed altro...

Il party per festeggiare quel fantastico decennio in cui i Duran Duran sfidavano gli Spandau Ballet...
una ragazza scrisse un libro, che ispirò un film, che si intitolava " Sposerò Simon Le Bon" ...
la new wave generò il synth pop che conquistò le discoteche a colpi di hit danzerecci...
le atmosfere new romantic incontravano scenari futuristici, generando l'arte del videoclip...
Mike Bongiorno presentava gli A-ha e Garbo al pubblico televisivo...
i Depeche Mode mettevano d 'accordo tutti, dark e paninari, wavers e yuppies...
e l' Italia vinceva i Mondiali spagnoli del 1982, battendo Argentina, Brasile e Germania...
