Metamorfosi Concerto Avant Garde
Molte le novità' di questa nuova stagione, prima di tutto la scadenza, ogni 2 settimane circa, quindi 2 party al mese. Secondo, l'aspetto live, solo le migliori proposte attualmente in circolazione, band estere e nomi di rilievo. Ospiti d'eccezione sul palco dello Zoobar l' 11 ottobre sono gli Avant-Garde (per chi non li conoscesse, storico gruppo darkwave italiano attivo da meta' anni '90, maggiori info nella bio), in apertura liveset di FM/S-odium, manipolatore di suoni per eccellenza, tra industrial, idm e ambient. Novia' in consolle, dj Hellvis, aka Simone Salvatori in arte Spiritual Front arruolato in squadra fara' parte del rooster.
La Factory e' affidata come di consueto ai resident Dj Severance & Dj Chemnitz, con una guest ogni volta diversa, l'11 Oct. sarà con noi Dj Demon.
In fine, la location, lo Zoobar, non ha bisogno di presentazioni, locale storico delle capitale, quest'anno in veste più' rinnovata, vera essenza del "club underground", notturno, magico ed assolutamente mitteleuropeo. Concepito come una "warehouse" la struttura ricorda una "factory", atmosfere molto berlinesi stile Kreuzberg. Un sound system di qualità' e un ottimo light service, sopra, un lucernario a piramide. E molto di piu'. Facilmente raggiungibile, il locale affaccia su via Nomentana poco dopo P.zza Bologna, ampio parcheggio davanti.

AVANT-GARDE (Rome/IT) BIO
Avant-Garde are a post-punk/dark-wave trio from Rome created in 1994 by Alessio Schiavi with the attitude to re-elaborate the classic dark-wave sound trying to make it actual without losing its original feeling.
The first band official release was a self-titled 12" EP (1999) followed by two full length albums, "CYANURE" (2004) and the acclaimed "IRON IN FLESH" (200
that got a nomination for "best album of the year 2008" on www.deathrock.com and mentioned as one of the best albums of the decade 2000-2009 on www.erbadellastrega.it.
They played several gigs in Italy and Europe as well, even sharing the stage with bands like Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, And Also The Trees, Cinema Strange, White Rose Movement, For Against, Ausgang. and playing at the following events:
- ASCENSION OF THE GODS in Bassiano, Italy (July 1997)
- OBSCURE FEST II in Naples, Italy (May 2006)
- DIE WUNDERKUR GOTHIC FESTIVAL in Bologna, Italy (September 2007)
- LEFANTASTIQUE.NIGHT XXII in Brussels, Belgium (February 200
- AVANT-GARDISM FROM BEYOND in Saint Petersburg, Russia (November 2010)
They also had their London debut gig in June 2009 and a German tour in February 2011.
October 2012. The brand new single "EPOQUE" is released. Four tracks taken from their forthcoming album "ANTITESI" with new sounds due to the introduction of synths and keyboards for a different musical approach.
For the purpose of these recordings Avant-Garde also involved drummer Gianmarco Bellumori and the dream-pop/coldwave artist Mushy.

FM/S-odium
FM & S-odium are Luciano Genovese's two sonic creatures. FM saw the light in the late '90: an exploration ranging from his favourite sounds of post punk and new wave and his new interest in the vast currents of electronic: industrial, idm, ambient, experimental techno and so on. ten year later, in the late 2000, the idea of joining isolationist sonorities with drone music and no rhytmic parts bring to a parallel project nicknamed S-odium. Until now only FM performed live and realized tracks recorded on pshysical supports: two selfproduced albums, some remixes and a song featured in the roman-apulian-berliner compilation "terrazza marthini". the featured song, H, received good critical reviews both on classic paper magazines and specialized webzines. FM performed live many times, for instance as support for Krisma, in Rome, and Recoil, in Milan.
