CCC CNC NCN - Industrial/Noise (IT)
Is the name under which a group of artists, musicians, performers and video makers of various nationalities gathered as a collective. The project was born from an offshoot of the early 1980s Hardcore punk group Kollettivo based in El Paso Occupato. Alessandro Bolli in his " Dizionario dei nomi rock", taking up an old interview with Massimo Moscarelli published on Blast!, underlines how the group "has never given itself a private identity" by eliminating the names of the authors and appearing in their concerts with balaclavas and gas masks: "it is our belief that the 'product' function remains firmly linked to the producer and from this receives reflected light which often changes its actual value". Hence also the choice of the name, often considered an acronym for "chi c'è c'è, chi non c'è non c'è", but which could also be an acronym for anything else. In their shows, which often appear as a mixture of live music, performance and experimental theatre, the audience often became an integral part of the show, freeing the scene from the constraints of the stage and the fourth wall.
Their sound often mixes metallic noises, typical of a certain industrial music with electric guitars of hardcore punk derivation.
The group expanded over the years, always maintaining an open form and often changing the members, with a consequent increase in complexity of the shows.
INTOTHEBAOBAB - Punk (IT)
Intothebaobab was born in 2004, in the eastern province of Bologna, as a provocation to boredom. In 20 years of activity they became a true pillar of the Italian punk movement despite their entirely personal direction. To celebrate these 20, and react to the warmongering politics that have affected them, today more than ever, "1000 Mondi Possibili", their latest LP, is released in 2024.

Waking up tired once again without realising you snorted one too many. Or you've actually realised, but you're ignoring it again. Dancing on your own footsteps, that feel like stones, under the early sun . Serpe Terror brings to the rave scene a reality suspended on the razor's edge.

I CCC CNC NCN sono un gruppo italiano di musica industriale, nato negli anni ottanta a Torino. Il gruppo/collettivo formato da artisti di diverse discipline, propone spettacoli in bilico fra concerti, performance e teatro d'avanguardia. Le tematiche da loro spesso trattate sono il suicidio come scelta estrema di libertà, il controllo delle masse e l'oppressione del potere.

La scritta "Digos Boia" disegnata con la bomboletta sul muro della palazzina di fronte. Notti in giro senza patente, sotto le luci delle camionette. Alzarsi stanco ancora una volta senza aver capito, che avevi tirato troppo. E se l'avevi capito hai fatto di nuovo finta di niente. Ballare ancora sui propri passi, che sono sassi, alla controra. Serpe Terror Spinge sotto cassa un immaginario teso sul filo rasoio.

“IntoTheBaobab si... ma IntoTheBaobab perché? - Che ne so! Suona come se stessimo dentro a qualcosa di grande e lontano anni luce da qua.”
Nel 2004 il qua era Medicina, la noia compressa di provincia, mentre il grande e lontano era una saletta prove auto-costruita e agibile solo di notte... In quell'anno, secondo leggende tramandate solo oralmente e testimonianze di qualche ubriacone, appaiono per la prima volta gli IntoTheBaobab.
In vent’anni riusciranno a scrivere fanzine, partecipare attivamente a collettivi di vari spazi sociali, registrare demo che diventeranno cd e cd che diventeranno dischi, fare concerti che diventeranno tour, suonare senza dimenticare di lasciare sempre qualcosa al caso per conservare il grande lusso di avere molte più idee in testa di quante non riescano ancora a concretizzare.
A ritmi lentissimi, che per la band equivalgono a cinque minuti di concentrazione, in mezzo a oceani di soli e lune passati a vivere tra chi cerca, crea e tramanda la stessa tensione verso l'unica libertà vera: quella basata sull'equità totale tra le individualità più disparate.
